My Father was a former Ramitex regular employee, he was hired from 1968 to 1990, when the unexpected strike of the Union workers, including Kilusang Mayo Uno.. was happened. way back then, Ramitex was the No.#1 Mill Plant in Bagbaguin Valenzuela from the 50's, 60's, 70's to 80's. All Employee's and their families were very sad for that 1990 sudden Closure of the Mill Plant. We live there with the family at the left side of the road fronting Ramitex Gate-1 from 1972 to 1978, when my Father decided to transfer us way home to San Jose Del Monte City Bulacan. I have many memories when we are still living in Ramitex bagbaguin Valenzuela. Last year i decided to visit the place in Bagbaguin from where i grow-up, Almost things ive seen there was new, New Buildings, in front of Ramitex Gate-1 and even at the Gate-2 main Entrance. The people tha i have talk there said to me that "NIKON APLLIANCE" was the one who rented the Ramitex Compound. They have their Su-Office there located at the Gate-2 former main entrance. Gate-2 is now permanently closed. Gate-1 is the only remaining presently operational. ive seen Trucks delivery and Pull-out. All things are really new, Bldgs, Houses outside the main road in Bagbaguin fronting Ramitex Compound is totally new.
